Welcome to our newest theme!

This month we are looking at Self Worth and we have some wildly empowering articles to share.

Will all of our articles be upbeat and happy? I do know a few of our readers are skeptical about the positive nature of our articles and I am glad you've flagged this with us! While we certainly aren't aiming for shallow happy vibes, we do make sure our articles are constructive and, when appropriate, share the good stuff we've learned from our stories.

This is simply because being a TCK is already hard enough without our content adding to the uphill climb! We also want to share the wisdom we wish someone could have told us earlier in our journeys to becoming healthier and whole TCKs.

We publish a story every Saturday and Wednesday so make sure you visit us then. If you have any TCK stories which meet our guidelines, send them my way at editor@tcktown.com, or feel free to post them on our Community Facebook Group.

Our March edition is "Woman" and we are still accepting submissions.

I'd like to say a BIG thank you to Ashleigh Leyshon, Lilith Palmer and Lucy O'Connor for editing this edition with me.

Lots of love

Happy 2018!! Welcome to our newest theme!

This month we are looking at being In Love, thanks to your responses on our little pop-up survey! Thank you for taking those few minutes to share your ideas with us and keep that feedback coming! The first story drops this Wednesday, but if you just can't wait that long, here are a few articles we've published earlier on the subject.

We will be getting into the nitty-gritty of all the good stuff: heartache, passion and being true to yourself in the often frustrating world of dating. Stay tuned! We publish a story every Saturday and Wednesday.

If you have any TCK stories which meet our guidelines, please send them my way at editor@tcktown.com, or feel free to post them on our Community Facebook Group. Our February edition is "Self Worth" and we are still accepting submissions!

I'd like to say a BIG thank you to Ashleigh Leyshon, Lilith Palmer and Lucy O'Connor for editing this edition with me.

Welcome to our newest theme!

This month we are looking at Resilience: our ability to "bounce" back in the most constructive way possible. To be quick, adaptive and clever so we can move on to better things.

Our writers this month have put some exceptional work together and created a strong November edition to bring 2017 closer to a close with.

Along with beautiful anecdotes about recent broken hearts, we have memories of busy Hong Kong streets, solid advice about how best to move countries, ways to stand tall as a TCK and incredible people of history that we still think about today. You're going to love it!

If you have any TCK stories which meets our guidelines, please send them my way at editor@tcktown.com, or feel free to post them on our Community Facebook Group

I'd like to send a BIG thank you to Ashleigh Leyshon, Lilith Palmer and Lucy O'Connor for editing this edition with me.

Stay strong and stay springy!

Welcome to our newest theme!

It's about time we wrote this issue! Even though there are many ways that we are wildly different, all of us at TCK TOWN have a deep passion for the arts that has united us for a good year and a half across borders and oceans.

Our wonderful team and new contributors are not only talented storytellers, they have plenty to share about their cross-cultural experiences of music, the visual arts, poetry and creative history that you will enjoy diving into. You'll see a few of of our very early articles featured again too!

If you have any TCK artworks which meets our guidelines, please send them my way at editor@tcktown.com, or feel free to post them on our Community Facebook Group. We'd love to see what you can do too!

A BIG thank you to Ashleigh Leyshon, Lilith Palmer and Lucy O'Connor for editing this edition.

Welcome to our newest theme!

It is ironic that I am taking my leave during our "Career" month at TCK TOWN. I have neck and back injuries due to being far too glued to my screen. Working in the advertising industry means late hours, and as a freelancer even more so, and of course, I have been determined to fit our beloved TCK TOWN in most nights and weekends too but my poor muscles and bones have had enough. The team are well briefed and will do swimmingly without me this October, but if you notice a few oddities here and there, do bear with us until November!

This month we explore the topic Careers and it has been quite a meaty topic. Do TCKs have different experiences in the corporate world to our local friends? Do we choose different careers altogether because we are so mobile? Are our challenges unique to us alone?

We have a wad of great stories for you this month which will go live every Wednesday and Saturday as always. Stay tuned :)

Welcome to our newest theme!

In partnership with the ever wonderful Behind The Label, we are so excited and proud to share our latest edition with you!

This month we explore the topic Bridging Worlds and how TCKs experience those serendipitous and sometimes jarring connections between the places of our pasts and our present. It's a delicious collection of varied cities, travels and conversations that we know you will adore.

We have left one publishing slot open for 30 September for anyone who would like to send a final piece in! Flick your work through to editor@tcktown.com

Enjoy!
